Principal's Message - May 28th

Dear Marilla Primary Families.

Whew!  We had quite a busy but FUN week at Marilla Primary last week!

Monday, we celebrated the Arts with our 3rd and 4th grade chorus concert and the K-4 Art Show.  Thank you to the Marilla PTO for another great family event.  The Book Fair and Family Social was enjoyed by many.  So happy Mother Nature cooperated too!

It was a pleasure getting to know our newest kindergarten students and their families at Kindergarten Screening on Tuesday. The children in UPK took part in Kindergarten Screening on Friday.  We look forward to connecting again on August 27th for Kindergarten Meet and Greet.  We are here over the summer, so please reach out with any questions or concerns.

Also on Tuesday, our 4th grade band and orchestra students performed alongside their future II classmates from Elma and Wales at our concert at the Middle School.  The students did an amazing job!  Thank you also to Miss Schutt, Miss Swarts, and Mrs. Szablewski for all their passion and commitment to music education.

The 3rd graders enjoyed a beautiful day Thursday at Sahlen’s Field cheering on the Bisons for Kids Day at the ballpark.  Thank you to the PE teachers for organizing an event to bring all of the 3rd graders together.

Parents of 3rd and 4th grade students headed to II next year, please take a moment to complete the input form that was sent last week for your child to help ensure a smooth transition as the II team gets to know each student.

This week, we will have the 3rd Grade Picnic on Thursday, May 30th and the 4th Grade Picnic on Friday, May 31st

The School Spirit Theme on Friday is Crazy Hair or Hat Day!

We hope you enjoyed the long holiday weekend!  Thank you for your support!
