Principal's Message - Apr 12th
Dear Marilla Primary Families.
We enjoyed a great week back at school hearing about everyone’s Spring Break adventures!
Thank you to everyone for your support in adjusting our routine for student drop off and pick up. Everything is going smoothly with parents parking at the church. If there are any other adults who pick up your child and do not receive the weekly updates, please be sure to share the new routine with them.
Don’t forget to order your 2023-2024 Marilla Primary yearbook! Order forms were sent home this week. Orders can be placed online, or order forms can be sent in with your child. Please have all orders placed by Monday, April 15th (you may disregard the deadline on the order form). If you are a parent of a 3rd or 4th grader, your child’s yearbook will be gifted to them from the MP PTO and the District. The PTO and District will cover the cost of the base yearbook ($10). If you would like to order extra items such as a personalized cover or yearbook stickies, you must still complete an order for those items and send in the payment.
Order one today, don’t delay!
We are coming up on the time of year where there are many celebrations recognizing the growth of our students. Please mark your calendars if any of these celebrations involve your child:

A letter is being sent home today with details regarding our upcoming NYS Assessments for students in Grades 3-4. We are scheduled to administer ELA assessments on the mornings of Wednesday, April 17th and Thursday, April 18th.
Finally, this Saturday, April 13th, the Town of Marilla is sponsoring a family Spring Social. The social is from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. This fun event puts families in contact with organizations around town. The flyer for this event is on our webpage for further information.
