Mrs. Stanfield's Message October 31, 2025

Dear Marilla Primary Families,

What a great day today!  The weather “didn’t rain on our parade”!  The children looked amazing in their costumes.  Thank you to our families for being so generous with your time and party supplies and eats!

Capital Improvements Project

On November 18th from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM, a vote will be held for our next Capital Project.  The vote will take place at the Intermediate Gymnasium.

The project will be focused on keeping students warm and dry by replacing our oldest heating systems.  For more information about this project see “News and Announcements” on our website and click on the 2025 Capital Improvements Project.

Lockdown Drills

As part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and preparedness of our faculty, staff, and students, we will conduct a safety drill this week. The purpose of this drill is to ensure that everyone is familiar with our emergency procedures and can respond quickly and effectively in the event of an actual emergency.  The type of drill that we will practice this week is our Lockdown Drill.  We will practice with students as to what to do during this type of drill. We share with them that this is another thing we do in school to remain safe.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Stanfield.

PTO Coin Wars and Spirit Week

Next week, our PTO will be running the annual Coin Wars fund raiser.  This is a fun way to raise money for the events and trips for the students.  There was a flyer sent home earlier this week explaining the themed days.  Monday, the students should bring in pennies and the theme dress is PAJAMA DAY! Tuesday, we are collecting nickels, and the theme is Tie Dye/Neon Day, Wednesday is Dime Day along with Decades Day.  Thursday, we will collect quarters and be Mismatch & Crazy Hair.  The final day on Friday we will collect BILLS and wear Buffalo Bills colors.  The class that raises the most money will get to Silly String a teacher before the holiday break.

Danny’s Helping Hands

Finally, as Thanksgiving and the holidays approach, we would like to share a message from Danny’s Helping Hands:

We offer various programs, services and resources, including a free Clothing Room and Community Pantry box; more information can be found at www.dannyshelpinghands.org.

For those who need assistance with Thanksgiving Meals this year, you can fill out a form to receive items for a Thanksgiving Meal, and we also offer a Holiday Gifts Program for children of families in the area. To apply for these programs, please visit our website. We ask that you apply by 11/15. We look forward to serving those in our community this holiday season.
