Mrs. Stanfield's Message November 26, 2025
Dear Marilla Primary Families.
Yesterday we celebrated the gratitude and generosity shown from our Marilla friends and families during our Coin Wars competition. The winning class was Mrs. Cox’s class. Mrs. Cox and Mrs. Fleming were great sports and the class got to blast them with Silly String as a reward for their fund-raising efforts. Thank you to everyone for supporting the Marilla PTO!
A reminder as we return from the Thanksgiving Break that report cards will be sent home on Wednesday, December 3rd, and Parent-Teacher Conferences will run on December 4th and December 9th. If you have any questions about your upcoming conference or need to schedule one, please reach out to your child’s classroom teacher. To accommodate conferences, we will dismiss early on December 4th and 9th. Students being picked up will be released at 10:40 AM, buses will depart at 11:00 AM, and UPK dismissal is at 11:00 AM. If there are changes to your usual dismissal plans, please notify Jessica Gentz in the Main Office. Please be aware both the Boys and Girls Club and Under the Apple Tree will be closed on December 4th and 9th.
We have a change in staffing at Marilla Primary. The school nurse, Robyn White-Thomson is no longer with the district. School nurse substitutes, employed by the district, will be working at Marilla Primary until we hire a new school nurse. If you have any concerns, please contact Mrs. Stanfield.
Finally, I want to share my heartfelt appreciation.
To our staff—thank you for showing up each day with dedication and giving your best to our students.
To our students—thank you for the energy, optimism, and happiness you bring into our school.
To our families—thank you for your continued support and for being true partners in our work.
Have a happy Thanksgiving!
