Dear Marilla Primary Families,
We have another busy week at Marilla ahead of us as we prepare for the Thanksgiving season!
Picture Retake Day is this Thursday, November 20th.
If your child did not have their picture taken at Marilla in October, they will have it taken on Thursday. This is the photo that will be used in the yearbook.
If your child did have their picture taken in October and you would like a retake, please let your child’s teacher know.
If you have not yet received a proof to view, please call the main office at 716-652-3000 ext. 3001.
We are looking forward to several fun events for our students in December. One of these events is the PTO Jingles Workshop on Friday, December 12th. All students will have the opportunity to make holiday gifts for family members. Please reach out to the Marilla PTO if you are available to volunteer and help prepare the materials for the gift creations.
Just a reminder that today, November 18th from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM, a vote will be held for our district’s next Capital Project. The vote will take place at the Intermediate Gymnasium. The project will be focused on keeping students warm and dry by replacing our oldest heating systems and updating aging roofs. A reminder that we will have an early dismissal day on Friday, Nov. 21st. We will begin dismissing students being picked up at 11:40 AM, and buses will depart at noon. UPK children will be dismisses at 12:00 PM. If there is a change in your usual dismissal plan, please send a note in advance.
