Mrs. Stanfield's Message November 10, 2025

Dear Marilla Primary Families,

It was inevitable — winter weather has arrived! Even though the temperatures are colder and the snow is flying, we will continue to go outside for recess whenever conditions allow. Our guideline for outdoor recess is a temperature (including windchill) above 25 degrees. Please be sure your child comes to school with boots, snow pants, a winter coat, hat, and gloves or mittens. If you have an extra set of winter gear that you’d like your child to keep at school, that’s perfectly fine — it helps ensure they’re always prepared for outdoor play.

Please also mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 18th, when voting will take place for our district’s next Capital Project. Polls will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Intermediate School Gymnasium. This project focuses on keeping students warm and dry by replacing our oldest heating systems and updating aging roofs. For more information, visit the “News and Announcements” section on our district website and click on the 2025 Capital Improvements Project link.

Our next PTO Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 12th at 1:45 p.m. in the cafeteria. A TEAMS link will be posted on our webpage for anyone who prefers to join virtually.

A reminder that there will be no school on Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day.

Thank you, as always, for your partnership and support. Have a wonderful week!
