Dear Marilla Primary Families,
It has been a busy and exciting week for our students! We were very excited to finally get outside for recess and enjoy the fresh air.
We are looking forward to our PTO Family Fun Night tonight from 6:00–7:30 PM in the Iroquois High School cafeteria. Bring the whole family for an evening of fun with Bingo and Baskets! Thank you to our hardworking volunteers who planned the event, donated items, and assembled the baskets. If you are available to help this evening, please consider signing up using the volunteer link posted below—many hands make light work!
On Wednesday, students enjoyed a high-energy performance by Kevin McCarthy. His show encouraged students to believe in themselves and reminded us that with hard work and practice, anything is possible. This performance was an award we earned by participating in the Fitness for Kids Challenge during our PE classes. Thank you to Mrs. Peresan for always finding community resources that enhance our PE program and help students learn how to keep their bodies and minds healthy while having fun.
Just a reminder that tomorrow, Friday, March 6, is an early dismissal day.
· Parent pickup begins at 11:40 AM
· UPK pickup is at 12:00 PM
· Buses will depart Marilla at 12:00 PM
Please note that the Boys & Girls Club will be closed. If your child’s dismissal plans will change, please send a note in with them tomorrow morning.
