Dear Marilla Primary Families:
We finally were in school for an entire week! We are hoping the weather will cooperate so the students will be able to go outside for much needed OUTDOOR recess this week!
World Read Aloud Day
Thank you to Ms. Chernowski for planning and organizing another successful opportunity for the students at Marilla to meet a real author! We met author, Susan Lubner. She has written a variety of picture and beginning chapter books. They enjoyed meeting and asking her questions. Thank you, Ms. Chernowski for always finding ways to inspire our young readers and writers!

Kids Heart Challenge
This is the final week of the Kids Heart Challenge for any students who are participating. Donations can be made from through February 12th.
The student who raises the most money will have the Marilla Primary Gym named after them for the ENTIRE YEAR!!!! Please have your child bring their contribution envelopes into school no later than February 12th. Checks should be made payable to the American Heart Association.
ONLINE DONATIONS WILL STOP AT 2:45 PM ON FEBRUARY 12TH.
The student who raised the most money will be shared on announcements at 3:00 pm.
Participants will receive thank-you gifts based on the number of contributions they collect.
***OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE $10,000. IF THE STUDENTS REACH THIS GOAL, THEY WILL HAVE A GLOW IN THE DARK CAPTURE THE FOOTBALL GAME DURING FUTURE PE CLASSES
