Principal's Message -June 20th

Dear Marilla Primary Families,

Thank you to all who joined us for all of our celebrations last week.  Our 3rd graders were recognized for a successful journey at Marilla Primary, our Kindergarteners enjoyed reminiscing about the year and how much they have grown, and EVERYONE loved celebrating with FIELD DAY!!  It was great to see everyone out in support of our students and community.  On Wednesday, June 25th we will celebrate our UPK students at 9:30 am at the church.

Regarding the forecast for high heat indexes on Monday and Tuesday of next week, the primary buildings will still run full school days. Please send your child with a water bottle and a change of clothes, as we will incorporate water activities in PE and perhaps other classes. If you have concerns regarding the heat and would prefer to keep your child home or pick them up early, we understand. Please notify the school if this is the case. Per the district calendar, Wednesday is scheduled early release day.  Students being picked up will be dismissed beginning at 11:40 am, buses will depart at noon, UPK pick up for students who do not go home with parents after the celebration will also be at noon.

Since today wasn’t the greatest of weather days for Beach Day, we will have another Beach Day on Wednesday the last day of the school year!

Thank you for your partnership and support.

Have a great weekend!
