Mrs. Stanfield's Message January 10, 2025
Dear Marilla Primary Families,
Jut a reminder that on Monday, January 13th, our Kindergarten – 3rd Grade students will travel to the HS in the morning for the annual Holly Hanging display. This was rescheduled due to the snow days. The children are welcome to dress in holiday clothes or colors for the festive visit!
Thank you again to Mrs. Szablewski for a special Sing-A-Long to start off the holiday break. Also, just a reminder that there was a change to the District Calendar after they were printed and there is not a 3rd Grade chorus concert scheduled for January.
Thank you to all who joined us for our PTO meeting on Wednesday. At the meeting, we reflected on the December events and began planning for some fun events for the remainder of the year. Information on these events will be posted on the Marilla Primary PTO Facebook page and on the Marilla Primary Website. The next fun family event is ice skating at the rink in East Aurora on Jan. 20th. Please see the flyer that came home for details.

Personal Safety Lessons
Each year, Ms. Cheney teaches lessons in the classrooms for our Kindergarten – 3rd Graders about personal safety. These lessons will begin this week. Ms. Cheney will be sending “homework” home that is not really homework but intended for families to be able to see the basic concepts covered and to extend conversations at home. If you have any questions about the program, please feel free to reach out to Ms. Cheney.
Thank you for your support.
Have a great weekend!
