Dear Marilla Primary Families.
As we head into Spring Break, we are looking forward to a very busy end of April and May with some upcoming events for students and families. The end of the school year will come very quickly!
We will be hosting families of our incoming UPK and Kindergarten students on April 23rd for Orientation. There will be a program for parents/guardians and their incoming UPK children on April 23rd at 5:00 PM. This session is for parents only. There will be a program for parents/guardians and their incoming kindergarten children on April 23rd at 6:00 PM. This session is for parents and the incoming kindergartener. Parents will hear about the program from Ms. Cheney and Mrs. Stanfield. The children will get to do a fun activity with the UPK and Kindergarten teachers.
Kindergarten screening for students not currently enrolled in our District UPK program will run during the day on May 27th. Kindergarten screening will be by appointment on this day.
A reminder that Yearbook orders are due April 21st. Marilla Primary yearbooks can be ordered at www.ybpay.com using the code 12614325. Third grade parents do not need to order a yearbook as the PTO purchases yearbooks for our 3rd graders.
Mark your calendars! On Monday, May 19th at 5:00 pm, we will be hosting our PTO Book Fair, Art Show, and PTO Basket Raffle. Art from every K-3 student will be on display, and families will have the opportunity to win some great prizes through the basket raffle. Families will be able to purchase raffle tickets with cash at the event. Students will also visit the book fair during the school day with their class.
